My Review of Rimmel London #StayMatte Liquid Mousse Foundation

Arriving in stores January 2014 is Rimmel London's Newest Foundation Stay Matte Liquid Mousse and I got to check it out before it arrived in stores! To say the least I was really excited to be among the first to try this product!!! Rimmel London's New Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation comes in 8 available shades Light Ivory, Ivory, Soft Beige, Sand, Light Porcelian, True Ivory, Classic Beige, & True Beige which makes it really easy to match almost any skin tone! (Colors are shown in order from left to right!)

Everyone knows I'm a true Florida Girl and I love the sun so naturally I chose True Beige. It matched well with my skin tone and went on really easily! Forgive me for the lack of my usual before and after pictures! I know I'm usually good at doing them right away and from 500 different angles, but I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out 2 weeks ago so my sense of impending doom combined with the pain of them coming in had me over stressing and under-thinking everything. My face is still a little swollen, but I'm starting to finally feel better! Thank god that is over, but I'll save that experience for another post!

The great thing about this foundation is that its oil free and you can easily tell because it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy! It had no distinctive or strong scent like you sometimes find with other tube based foundations which I really liked! Also My fiancee didn't complain once about me having "that face stuff on" when going to kiss me! Men! They just don't understand!! haha! I wore it everyday for 3 weeks here so far and after putting it on I most times forgot I had it on! It's definitely light and airy! Since I was blessed with such wonderful "sensitive skin" most BB Creams & foundations usually break me out within days NOT the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation! I'm happy to report that I've been using it everyday now for 21 or so days and I have yet to have a break out! Definitely a 2 thumbs up from me on that end!

To sum it all up the foundation does everything Rimmel London says it does! It's feather light, comfortable to wear, blends flawlessly, and minimizes the appearance of pores!!! Overall I really enjoyed using this product and wouldn't definitely recommend it! I honestly have yet come across a better Matte Foundation yet!
If you would like to check out Rimmel London's New #StayMatte Liquid Mousse Foundation for yourself you can check it out here! It will be available in stores everywhere January 2014!

Are you watching The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC???

Recently, we(Jay and I) came across a new show on ABC called The Taste! It's on Tuesdays at 8/7C on ABC. Jay and I thoroughly enjoy cooking shows so this show was right up our ally! The Taste is a competition based cooking show hosted by Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludovic Lefebre, and Brian Malarkey. all 4 mentors coaching 4 teams of cooks. The best part is that some of the cooks are professional chefs and some of the cooks are only home cooks. Every week they have different challenges. The judges BLIND JUDGE(meaning they have no idea who made it) the food based on ONE BITE!!!! Could you imagine making it on a cooking show, cooking for judges, and it coming down to JUST ONE BITE? I don't know about you, but I would love to see a home cook beat out most of the professional chef's!

Jay and I are really excited to see what happens on the next episode! It's looking like they are just getting warmed up and it's sure to be an exciting season!!!! If you want to check out the most recent episode you can watch it here! Don't forget that the Next episode airs on tuesday February 19th at 8/7C on ABC!!!!

My Review of Palmolive Fresh Infusions

I recently let you all know that I received 3 of the new Palmolive Fresh Infusions in my Palmolive VoxBox from Influenster and I would be trying them out to let you know what I think! Well the results are in!!!

For those of you that may not have read my previous post I'll give you a quick rundown! I got 3 16 OZ bottles 1 of each scent! 1 of the Lime Bazil Scented, 1 Ginger White Tea Scented, and 1 Lemon Thyme Scented! I gave the Lemon Thyme to my best friend, but before I did I just had to try it out at least once and it performed just as fabulously as the Lime Bazil and the Ginger White Tea that I got to try all month.

To be honest I was a little nervous about testing these dish detergents out. Those that know me know that I take dishwashing serious in my house! Before testing this new dish detergent I have to admit that I was a D**n Girl first and Palmolive was usually used as my second choice when the specific D**n I like is out of stock. With the previous forms of Palmolive I was usually disappointed because the dish soap never seemed to last as long as the other brand or wash as many dishes as the other brand would. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the new Palmolive Fresh Infusions actually lasted just as long as my previous brand and cleaned just as many dishes if not more! I really enjoyed using this dishsoap and it left my dishes sparkling clean. It made my kitchen smell so wonderful too! I hate doing dishes so to have something smell so nicely while doing dishes definitely made a big difference for me! I actually started to enjoy doing my dishes! Scary thought huh? I even enjoyed leaving the bottles of dish detergent out on my counter when I wasn't doing dishes!

Don't they look so pretty on the counter?

The only thing I would like to point out to all of you is that in my house we are Italian and because we are Italian we cook with loads of garlic and in every form you can probably think of! If you are a garlic lover and cook with it a lot, like we do, I would definitely suggest the Lime Basil or the Lemon Thyme Scented! For some reason the Ginger White Tea didn't overtake the garlic smell as well as the Lime Basil or Lemon Thyme from my pans! The Ginger White Tea still performed just as well and left my pans clean, but like I said it just didn't overtake the initial garlic smell from my pans as well as the Lemon Thyme or Lime Basil. Our favorite scent was the Lime Basil! It smelled wonderful and overtook any dirty dish smell we could throw at it, EVEN GARLIC! Overall I would definitely recommend this product! I'm really impressed by the Palmolive brand with the release of the Fresh Infusions line because they not only improved the bottle or the scents they also improved the dish detergent! After trying the Fresh Infusions I can assure you Palmolive will no longer be my 2nd go to brand it now ranks first!

If you would like to check out the new Fresh Infusions Line out for yourself you can find them at your local Walmart, at walmart.com, or at Palmolive.com. If you would like READ more reviews you can find them at The Influenster Review Page.

Oh and in case you were wondering what my best friend had to say about the bottle of the Lemon Thyme Palmolive Fresh Infusions that I gave her.... She gave the Lemon Thyme 2 thumbs up and said she will be trying the other scents as soon as her current bottle runs out!

Disclaimer: This is my honest opinion of the Palmolive Fresh Infusions Line and my opinion only! I do NOT WORK FOR OR GET ANY MONETARY COMPENSATION from Influenster, Palmolive, or Walmart for this post! Nothing more Nothing Less!

My Influenster Palmolive Fresh Infusion Unboxing & First Impressions

There's nothing more exciting than getting an Influenster Voxbox at my door and this one was no exception! I I already knew I was going to receive a box with goodies from Palmolive, but I had no idea it would be this good. I opened my box and it had 3 FULL SIZE 16 OZ bottles of Palmolive Fresh Infusions inside. 1 Lime Bazil Scented, 1 Ginger White Tea Scented, and 1 Lemon Thyme Scented!  Even better I got a bonus of 4 more coupons for 1.50 off on Palmolive Fresh Infusions!  Here's a picture for those of you that are bad at envisioning! =-)

Not the best picture I know, but I'm usually REALLY bad at taking pictures upon opening the box! I get too excited and start taking everything out! This time I told myself to slow down and take a quick picture for everyone before ripping it all out! I love the look and shape of the bottles. They look so modern and I don't think I'll mind leaving these sit on the counter in my kitchen even when I'm not doing dishes! I'm really excited to try these and even more excited to share with everyone what I think of them after I try them! I think my biggest problem will be deciding which scent to try first! Any suggestions?

Oh and if your too excited & can't wait to hear what I think or want to try them along with me you can find them at your nearest neighborhood Walmart Store or online at Walmart.com!
